As part of our efforts to strengthen collaboration and representation within the medical community, the Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZiMA) collaborates with all affiliate associations ensuring that associations second at least two members to our committees.

ZiMA coordinates accreditation of its affiliate associations for the renewal of practicing certificates with MDPCZ.
ZiMA signed MOU with Cimas to offer medical Aid service to ZiMA Members at a discounted premium. This fund remains active, and we urge our members to make use of it. It has since been migrated to an affordable USD based fund to ensure services offered prevail. The package is eligible to fully paid up members of the association only.
It ensures that its members are covered against any claims filed against them during the execution of duties. Medical indemnity protects the patient, the ZiMA member and is also a constitutional requirement. The insurance is renewed once a year and the fund covers the doctor for what he has paid for the year in the event of a claim. Insurance premiums are quoted in USD, with the option to pay in ZWG$ at the prevailing auction rate on the date of payment.
